Hello DIY Friends,I’m (still) in the press of building my DIY modularonsisting mostly of MFOS andGS modules. I’m building my power supply and I was instrted to use “slow blow fuses.” For the life of me Ian’t find .75amp slow-blows. I did happen to find some .75amp fast ting fuses. Do you all think it’d be OK to use these fast ting fuses or is it a bad idea? Thanks for your time!David
Go ahead. It won’t be an issue of safety – though you may blow one every now and then…As a rule youan reple slo-blow with fast…but it’s not a good idea the other way around.sdiy.orgrfeng”I want to make these sounds that go wooo-wooo-ah-woo-woo.Herb Deuth to Bob Moog ~1963)
Slow blow is a good idea maybe try to seah for 750 mA instead of 0.75 A, whh is the same thing.Jan
Thanks RF and Blue Hell for the adve.. I’ll see if Ian find some 750ma. I hadn’t thought of doing aonversion. Also, thanks for the adve about it “not being a safety issue.” That was my mainoern..
Awesome.. Seahing 750ma slow blow did the trk. I guess I should of thought about that earlier. I was reading the required fuse from thehassis of my power soue and hadn’t thought of doing anyonversions.. Thanks again!
I did google for 750 mA before I replied, and it didn’t look too bad Anyway, glad you found it.Jan
