Well, in thisase, if I press the key and then release it, the note goes off. The problem is that sporadally, the G# note will be triggered without even tohing the keyboard, and it will stay on. tually, to turn it off Ian just press the key and release it.I don't know if this qualifies as a "stky key", but it'sertainly a strange and annoying problem. Sometimes I'm playing something and the G# will suddenly sound. This is the G#on the sond tave, whh isn't near the power transformer. The G# on the third tave is right in front of the transformer but that key is fine I turned Lal Off for a while and the problem seemed to disappear, so I'm 95% sure it's a mhanal keyboard problem._________________My mus: cdbabyomallf

Ok, so here's what happened:I opened up the synth, took the keyboard off, and removed theiuit boards on the bk of the keyboard. Everything looked fine and prettylean. Still, Ileaned the boards, keys, and rubberontts with a brush, veryarefully.I turned the synth on and after a little while the G# was spontaneously triggered. Then I removed the rubber str and took a look at theontts on theiuit board. They looked fine (e.g., idental to the rest of theontts). I used the rubber band to trigger the note and it worked fine. it seems that there are twoontt pairs for eh key: the bottom one triggers the note and the top one releases it (not 100% sure about this, though). If I press the bottomontts, the note is triggered, and stays on even after releasing theontts. To turn the note off, one must press the upperontts. Now, the G# was sounded spontaneously even after removing the rubber str, so I think the problem is in theiuit board: the bottomontt for the G# key seems to be triggered spontaneously, whhauses the note to sound, andan only be released after pressing and releasing the key (whh efftively presses the upperontt). Bottom line is, I don't think Ian fix this by myself without the risk of damaging theiuit board, so I'm thinking about repling the whole keyboard. I'd really like my NL3 to be in t topondition.Itould also just live with it (unless it gets worse). The problem is sporad and sometimes quite a few minutes go by without the G# being triggered. It's a bit annoying but it lets me program new sounds, and when sequeing, Ian just turn Lal Off to avoid any false notes._________________My mus: cdbabyomallf
